"Late and late again"
Late both ways with the only explanation of crew getting in late last night. I would have liked the extra sleep too.
"Cancelled"
We were scheduled to have a long weekend in the bahamas with vision Airlines as one of their packages. After sitting in the airport for 8 hours they finally informed us that the flight had been cancelled and offered us a spot on the next flight. The next flight was 3 DAYS LATER! the day we were supposed to be coming home. A refund was offered however the hotel portion of the refund was penalized 1 nights stay so we were out $150 and we never got to the bahamas. I would NOT recommend this airline!

Upon leaving Ft. Lauderdale airport we were delayed 2 hours while Vision Airlines tried to find a crew to fly a contracted plane to Louisville. They advertise themselves as owning a FLEET of 767's and 737's but rely on contractors to carry their customers. Upon leaving Louisville we were delayed 14 hours while Vision attempted to find a PLANE to airlift us out and when they did manage to locate and engage one (Falcon Airlines) the ground crew had to jump start the plane just to get us off the ground!!! How does Vision deserve an FAA license? How were they granted one? And why do they still have one? They seem to engage in expedient and dangerous practices in a security-sensitive industry. Please for your safety and mental health STAY CLEAR of Vision Airlines. Kudos though to USA3000 and Falcon Airlines for coming to the rescue of ill-treated Vision customers. Both crews demonstrated enormous good-humor and professionalism in the face of bone-tired and, understandably, grumpy passengers.
"Airline of Last Resort"
I just flew Vision for the first time today and it definitely will be the last time. An unpleasant crew, a dirty plane, and one of the roughest landings I have ever experienced (in almost perfect weather nonetheless) were just some of the pleasantries enjoyed on this trip. I do not expect Vision to be around very much longer with this type of offering.
"Your plans need 8 hours of unexpected problems."
Flight to Vegas 8 hours late maintenance problems. Flight back from vegas 3 hour late maintentance problem miss connecting flight layover 4 more hours. Never will fly with this airline again I spend less on flight and paid more on losses on rental car and hotels being late.
"Plan on a delay"
This airline needs to improve it's "maintenance" problems. Was to leave STL at 12:40 p.m. on 6/13/11 and arrive at VPS at 2:00 p.m. and the plane was delayed for 10 hours due to "mechanical" problems. The people at VPS were delayed 12 hours getting to STL. The gate kept telling us it would be another 1 1/2 hours. Heard that all day. They did give everyone a $10 voucher for dinner but can't buy hardly anything in the airport for $10. Is there not enough fleet to fly another plane in to carry on the route? Is their fleet in that bad of shape? Needless to say, I was a little worried getting on a plane that needed maintenance. Got to hotel at 3:30 in the morning instead of the afternoon.
Return flight home was delayed 3 hours due to "mechanical" problems again.
Ruined vacation plans by losing a day of vacation, paying for parking, paying for a rental car and paying for a hotel room. Believe me that loss was more than the one way ticket they issued.
Save yourself some time and spend the extra money on another carrier to have a better chance of arriving at your destinations on time.
