"What's the meaning of flexible???"
I have travelled to Da Nang with my family, anyway that will be the great trip but when i took flight from Da Nang back to Saigon and that is the problem. My flight time on 8:10 AM ,we're be there at 7:40Am and they said that they closing counter at 7:40 my watch time now is 7:41 am. The supervisor there showing bad attitude even i have explained my sittuation because that i have children under 1 years old. They still pernalty me for each person 20$, and they said that we are late for 2 minutes so must pay that fees.
we know that our false too but i just wanna say where is customer service? and if i late 20 min or i don have children under 1 year old I still pay without disapointed.
They said it is the new rules running before 2 days already, but we are on travelling and they even do not send any mail or message for announcement. I never use this airline anymore, next time i choose vietnam airlines. Thank you for reading this noted.
"Poor service and thieves"
I arrived at the check-in and they refused to allow me to board with my acoustic guitar as hand luggage. This apparently is company policy (why? - every other airline allows a guitar as hand luggage). I told them it only weighed 3.5 kilos and it would be damaged if put with checked in luggage.
They made me pay for it as excess luggage and promised me three times that a staff member would personally bring it on board. When I boarded the flight, it did not arrive and they said it could not be carried in the cabin. So why lie about it?
The flight landed very late. When we landed, I found that they had stolen my storage disk and mp3 player and head phones from the guitar case pockets.
What a rotten experience. I agree with all the others - just avoid them - they're not worth it.
"The worse Experience!!!!"
DO NOT FLY with this company!!!!! It ends up being more expensive than all the other ones. You have to pay separate for EVERYTHING. On top of that it cancels flights all the time, the costumer service is terrible, the english of the attendants at the counter is extremely poor.
Over all a horrible experience!!!
DO NOT BUY TICKETS from Viet Jet, safe your money, time and patience!!!
"Impolite flight attendant"
I am not satisfied at how I was being treated by the purser Vinh Hien on flight VJ8372 - Saigon to Hue on 28/03/2014. After long waiting for the delayed plane, and while carrying a backpack, I was a bit slow to show my pass upon boarding, only to be shouted at by the purser that "I AM TELLING YOU TO SHOW ME YOUR PASS" (in Vietnamese). She was promoting for Vietjetair on the plane but not even looking at her service to the customers. Furthermore I found her pronunciation was inappropriate, as to spell "Ladies and gentlemen" as "ladies and Sheeermen" all the times, and "cabin Screw", among the others... I am a Vietnamese and I am telling you not to fly with them and stay away from the impolite flight attendants, because you do not know by any chance to experience some of our issues. I am very disappointed at the whole situations, from flight being delayed to their customer services. This is the poorest among my air-travel experience.
"Don't ever flight with vietjet ever again"
We (4 people)came to the airport right at 0812 am. The flight time is at 0840am. The receptionist told us the gate is closed for the paper processing. However the lady who does the paper work still sitting at the lane, she refused to do our paper work because the lane was closed at 0810. We attempted with a different person, but no willingness to help us at all. All they want us to do is pay for the new ticket or pay 385 dong for each person which is a total of 1,540 dong and we need to wait for 7 more hrs to that flight. At 0830 am, while making payment for the flight later at 1550 pm, we heard the announcement to remind Vietjet customers to come to the plane. Poor customer service ! So riff off to their customers! It is my first and also this is my last to flight with vietjet airline. Vietjet, I have a message for you: you won't last long with this kind of customer service you provide and how you riff off your customers like that!
"Not Viet Jet / More like LATE JET!!!"
Worst company to deal with. Book 7 flight with them and 6 were all late. Never knew about it after the fact we had book everything in advance. Customer services were horrible. You literally have to paid for everything. Even 1 kg pound over the 7kg limit. Counter desk employee were crooked. Bunch of rip off, unfriendly, unprofessional, people working at this airline. BEWARE do not use them!!! Paid a little more but at least you have a peace of mind...Never again with this airline!! NEVER!!!!
"Deny check-in in order to sell a ticket"
This company will do anything to bring you into trouble. I booked a ticket from HCM to Bangkok and without any prior notification, when I tried to check-in they refused to check me in because they said in order to enter Thailand, you need a have a ticket out of Thailand in advance within a month. They actually forced me and other passengers to buy an exit ticket in the airport in order to allow us fly.
Later on, I met on the flight another passenger that he had the same problem but he was aware of that already. So he told me that he denied to buy an exit ticket taking the responsibility in Thailand customs on arrival and they let him fly. He had no problem to enter Thailand and he or any other passenger were never asked for an exit ticket.
So, all this trouble and money was intentionally from VietJet in order to sell extra tickets from people on pressure.
Beware, beware, beware............. These people are gangsters!!!
My name is Mr. Yves Landry I am 49 years old, I visited 22 countries, I live in Vietnam for over three years now and yesterday November 22, 2013, I travelled with your company with my family and I would like to let you know about my very bad experience! So this is a complain!
First, I need to tell you that I was travelling with my Vietnamese wife and our 4 months old baby. With a baby of this age it is not easy to do so and because of that we arrived a lot earlier.
But the flight VJ8372 got delayed for more than an hour, then we never got the chance to board first as with other companies, so we decided to wait to be the last for our baby safety. On the bus to the plane no body give up a seat for my wife and baby consequences of not having a boarding priority.
Then in the plane the attendant responsible of counting the customers impolitely pouched my wife then me to pass us on the walkway (path). Many people were on it in front of us and I ask her “what the f*** are you doing?” My wife almost falls with the baby and so did I! She then stopped pushing everybody, but gave me a mad look to which I didn’t care.
We seated and my wife started to breastfeed our baby to put her asleep before the takeoff, but not long after the same attendant came to us with an attitude a baby seatbelt on hands and told us to install it right away and to put the armrest down immediately. The plane engines were no running, the plane obviously not moving, so I told her to wait a little, but she tried to do it herself to which I negatively reacted and told her again to wait a little because we were dealing with our baby. She then insisted and by her reaction I knew that she don’t have a baby herself and I told it to her. She called other attendants for help and so on until the back planes attendant supervisor threatened me to call security on us. I had no choice but to comply, which created a lot of problems with our baby and to my wife to keep breastfeeding. I’m stunt to see so much power trip over the logic and respect. The plane stays like that for more than ten minutes before the engines started, but the light was on, wow.
I’m retired and as a business man I started five successful companies and was the owner of eleven apartments, so I know a little about rules and customers care. Today as a customer I’m telling you that because of all of that, but especially because of yours, immature, on respectful attendant that pouched me away forever from your company, as I told them. In Canada, we treat our dogs with more respect!
I’m not asking for nothing from you over letting you know what had happen and what are the consequences. So now we won’t ever use your company again and will never talk positively about it.

Dont fly VietJet! Everytime i do they are always late. Very unorginized ground staff with no information on delay, just wait. There airplanes are either freezing cold or hot ass a fire. Seats are smallnand very uncomfortable. You have to pay for food evrything including your baggage. By the time you pay for everything it costs the same to fly Vietnam Airlines and at least know you will get to where you are going.
"Terrible Airline - Sucks Customer Service - Technical Team Careless"
Believe me or not but here is the truth
1. My flight from HO CHI MINH CITY to HAI PHONG delay
2. Staff at the Ground: I do not know, you (mean the passenger) have to listen and see the instruction on TV
3. After Aircraft down to Ground. Can not fly back because the oil are dropping down. They hide this issue to many passengers. If you have power in airline industry, you can find the truth there. Sure Pilot or Technical Team has manifest.
