Titan Airways Reviews
We had been informed late that Titan would replace our Easyjet flight. We had booked seating for an Airbus 319 but Titan fly Boeing 737 aircraft so the seating is different. No regard was given to those with booked seating and staff tried to insist that my 14 year old daughter sit by an emergency exit. I had to inform them that this was an offence as you have to be 16+ to be seated there. Due to the confusion on-board, we were delayed from flying.
The air conditioning was on full blast throughout the flight which was noisy. The engine noise was loud. The staff appeared not to want to be there. I did not want to be there!
Flew this airline as a replacement for BA.
Very happy with all aspects of this airline.
Great staff, very helpful, friendly and attentive.
Would be more than happy to fly with them again.
"Glad I flew Titan instead of Monarch"
I was supposed to fly Maonarch to/from Lanzarote but on the flight over, it was switched to Titan. But we flew Monarch going back home. The Titan flight was so pleasant! The crew was very friendly AND they gave us a meal/drink at no extra cost! Obviously, Monarch does not do that. Plus, the plane seemed to have more legroom as well. If i can ever choose to fly Titan again, I would!
"Excellence in Charter Travel"
Titan Airways began and ended our holiday to Corsica, providing us with comfort and efficiency. We appreciated the complimentary newspapers and refreshments, the extra legroom, courteous crew and the excellent quality of the seats. Take off and landing were skillfully executed. At a time when many passenger experiences reflect cost cutting and add on expenses, Titan managed to imbue 'the feel good factor' to us
"jet2 operated by Titan"
Plane airbus 320 seats more comfortable & more leg room than jet2 normal 737 or 757. More leg room than easyjet 320 on same route. Very smart & professional crew
"Nightmare so far and we've yet to take off!"
Boarded the plane with my husband and 3 and 5 year old over two hours ago. We had been allocated seats together icon row 12 and were, according to our tickets the 30th - 34th people to check in. As it happens row 12 is an exit row and we can't sit there wih our children. Annoying that the check in clerk did not use his common sense and out us on another row given that he could physically see both young uns but not a worry they'll just move us with another group of 3 or 4 no? No. Instead they ask the woman in the row runs to swap with my 3 year old and could my 5 year please move five rows in front?!!!! Eventually I traipsed round the plane and found a family of four, wih older exit row age appropriate children, who would happily swap with us. Unfortunately the two randoms that the stewardesses had moved into our exit row refused to move back and the stewardesses waded their hands of the whole thing so the poor family who moved were now not sitting together! Just as well we found our own arrangements to move as we've been sitting here since, trying to entertain littlies, because we don't have a landing slot in chambery. Apparently it's a small airport so we have to wait to find out when we can land which begs the question of why they dont have a landing alot arranged prior to scheduling a flight! Surely there's a better system.
