"WORSE customer service EVER !"

Review

Flight got cancelled and refund took ages.
Unfriendly replies from group reservations co-ordinator Samantha,
after 2 weeks of no news from Tigerair, I enquired about the refund progress, here's how she replied "I am awaiting the arrival of the cheque from our finance team.
Unfortunately I cannot sign the cheque myself, so I am waiting for the finance team to sign and return back to me.
Like I said previously I will advise you once it has been sent"

"The Worst Company i've ever Seen! screw you Tiger Airways"

i was travelling with Tiger on the 4th of may from Brisbane to Sydney! after a delay of 5 hours they also managed to loose my backpack! i checked in dropper my backpack with them and when i arrived in Sydney there was no bag for me. I was looking for anybody from tiger airways but there was nobody. after filling in a form with all my details they did not even offer me a proper solution! after two day i have not hear anything from Them. i keep on trying to get in contact with the right people but is so difficult! why can't they have a normal customer service with proper employees who can solve problems! its ridiculous that they have lost all my stuff just for a flight from Brisbane to Sydney!

i'll know i will never ever going with tiger airways again, the flight is bad, the service is the worsted i've ever seen and when they loose something they not give you any information or solutions

"Room For Improvement "

Lovely flight attendants, nice uniforms, decent advertising and timely but it's not the first time I've experienced Tigers ignorant and disrespectful Customer Service representatives - room for a lot of improvement there.

"Tiger Air aiming to maximize profit at all costs "

My brief acquaintance with Tiger Air has left such a bitter taste that I will never fly with them again and will strongly dissuade family, friends and colleagues from using this airline. I did not receive timely information about the terminal change at Perth Airport, now departing from the same area as the international terminal. The domestic terminal has always only operated in one area, 11 km away from the international terminal. Needless to say, when I got to the right terminal, I missed my flight, because of Tiger Air’s cost cutting practice of utilizing the same staff for check-in and boarding. This leaves the check-in counter unattended for 45 minutes before flight departure. Their explanation: it is our policy, because we are an on-time airline. When the same staff returned after the flight left I was stunned by their unprofessionalism. One example amongst others is a staff member verbalizing that she was not in the mood to answer a ringing phone. The 45-minute policy and the consequential standard charge of $85 to book another flight is a nice little money-spinner for Tiger Air. I was only one of 7 people queued up. The Tiger Air Arrivals in Melbourne was shocking, being nothing more than a warehouse with a demountable toilet block set up in one corner and a fenced off carousel. I normally book through Webjet and fly Virgin, Jetstar or Quantas. Over the past 12 years I have never had any issues with regard to correct and timely information, staff members' level of professionalism or the quality of the service. Additionally, the way Tiger Air’s Customer Care dealt with my complaint in recent days can only be described as a brush-off by a company aiming to maximize profit at all costs. Looking at other reviews of Tiger Air it has become clear that booking with them is literally a “lucky dip”. Missing a family Christmas celebration due to Tiger Air has made up my mind for me to never fly with them again.

"Tiger Airways passengers are animals"

My wife and I and two kids arrived in Sydney airport on 12:50 PM Monday 15 April 2013. Our flight was TT571 2:10 PM to Melbourne. I checked the screen, the flight was on schedule. We rested 20 minutes, then went to the long queue. We moved very slowly in the queue for 50 minutes. I lost patience and went to ask a staff, who told me that our flight had been canceled.

I said why don't you tell us, she said she had been telling the passengers in the queue and many have heard it. I said I was right in the queue and I don't have a hearing problem, and I didn't hear it.

We were told to go to the end of another queue. I repeatedly asked what will happen, but no explanation were given – "Just go to that queue!". We waited in that queue for 40 minutes. Then one passenger at the front came back and told the rest on the queue that no Tiger seats are available until Wednesday, which is two days later, so the whole queue dissolved and all those stressed passengers went to search for their own solutions, but no Tiger staff ever came and told the queue about this. It looks as if the decision to cancel the flight was the last thing that Tiger worries about – what happens after this decision to all those passengers that are left wondering in the airport are no longer Tiger's concern.

Well maybe it is a way to stay profitable by treating passengers as animals, but it is definitely a shameful and immoral way to stay profitable!

"Low Frills to the Extreme"

Worst Baggage Allowance Airline in the World. Prepaid online, but at the airport I had more luggage, and I was charged an exorbitant extra rate. I had, in fact, tried to revise my baggage allowance online in advance, but the system would not permit it. At airport, I was gouged. Also, charged a huge fee simply to use my credit card. AUS$7.50 surcharge. Agents were not friendly, two lines for over a hundred people checking in, and they just didn't care. Just an uncivilized experience, despite the low fare. Fly with someone else. Never again.

"leaves you stranded"

Review

Terrible airline that has no problem running late every time, making you run from one gate to another as they try to find a gate to use. Cancel flights without a care for their customers. Don't be fooled by their low fares as they are definitely to worth it.

"Terrible airline!!!!!"

Flight was cancled they didn't inform anyone at all, no message was produced until last minute. We were told to go all the way back to check in to be told we need to go back through to the gate having to pass back through luggage checks. All the staff were unhelpful and rude, next flight would be the next day in the afternoon and no accommodation was provided or even offer to be paid for. No travel expenses would be refunded only flight costs, any hotels already booked that would be missed also were not paid for!! Over all worst airline around ruined my holiday and will never choose to fly with them again and neither should you.
