"Great flight to Belize!"

Review

It was over Christmas, so tickets were a bit more expensive than normal (nearly $1000 vs $500) but that's what happens when one travels over the holidays. Flights were on time, most of the flight attendants were pleasant, and we got to Belize in one piece. Thanks SW for adding some more international destinations to your list.

"A bit overrated"

Review

PVD to LAS last Feb. Friendly staff. On time flights. But narrow seats, VERY LITTLE legroom. Single cabin in 737 700 gives cramped atmosphere. OK overall. I would still prefer to use AA, UA, DL, Virgin America

"Great Airline"

Review

This is the second time I have flown with Southwest on a USA domestic flight, both times I have had a very positive experience, the cabin staff are great, the planes are clean and the drinks and snacks are free.
Its easy to see why Southwest is rated best USA domestic airline.
I will always fly with them internally in the USA.

"People handling checked in luggage stole my laptop from the bag."

I checked in my luggage bag at the counter and received my baggage slip, My bag had my laptop and when i reached Chicago, The laptop was missing.
On my repeated attempts to reach airline officials and people working on duty that day, no one is taking responsibility for the same
The way they shrugged off the issue and claimed zero responsibility for checked in items was so frustrating.They gave me a $ 50 coupon to fly next time in compensation to stealing my $ 1100 laptop. F@#$ them.

Pathetic Service and worst experience i ever had talking to people in Southwest.

"UNACCEPTABLE"

Review

I bought a $300 SW gift certificate for my mother 12/11/12. When she tried to use it 1/16/13, we were told it was invalid, that it had been marked for fraud and that the $300 had been returned to the credit card holder. Since I bought the ticket, I called my credit card and was told that the money had NOT been returned. After 50 minutes on the phone with SW customer service (the following day because you cannot GET customer service in the evening), I was told that "the cardholder" had been notified of the fraud--but they wouldn't tell me WHO had been notified of the fraud claim (I'm the cardholder and I was NOT notified), that there were no refunds on gift cards, that they "could not" refund my money to my credit card and that the gift card was invalid.. WHAT?? They told me my "best bet" was to dispute the $300 charge (paid out 6 weeks prior to them) with my credit card company. Unbelievable. Don't give SW your money or buy a gift card from them. They are outright thieves.

"NS flights moved to Airtran"

Review

Funny how after SW bought Airtran they moved their nonstop flights to Airtran where they charge $20 more each way plus baggage fees, because, even though the flights were full, SW doesn't find the need for nonstop flights any longer. Very disappointing. Now I'm stuck with all sorts of SW points and I can't find a flight I'd like to book. They've undone what set them apart.

"First time on Southwest"

Review

This was our first ever flight with Southwest, we flew from LAX to Reno via Las Vegas.
The flight was trouble free and the cabin staff were very friendly, I liked that the flightdeck crew kept us updated and let us know what was happening,when we were held on the taxiway in LAX due to our slot into Vegas.
I was so impressed that I joined their frequent flyer program and will certainly use then in future to fly internally the next time I am in the USA, they sure knock spots of Virgin Blue in Australia.

"Good domestic airline"

Review

Flying on Southwest Airlines whilst in America was a great experience. The staff are very friendly and the service was very good. One of the things I love about Southwest is that should you need to cancel/postpone a flight, they are happy to accomodate you without any charges/fees. They simply credit you for the amount you paid for the flight and you just re-book another flight when you're ready. Exellcent!!!!!

"Disgusted"

Review

I am utterly appalled with Southwest. Out of 4 planes, 2 of them were delayed by 3 hours each. I am so disgusted!!! They also do not allow designated seating like other airline companies. I will never, ever fly with Southwest again, and I will NEVER recommend to ANYONE.

"Love to fly Southwest"

Review

Flew non-stop from MHT to TPA on May 25th and non-stop back from TPA to MHT on May 31st. Best flights ever. Going down it was clear all the way and the pilot pointed out places of interest along the way. That was great as I've never experienced that before. Coming back the flight was a bit late leaving TPA because of a cancelled flight originating in Texas but they put another plane on, The Lone Star, and got us off very quickly and only 15 min late getting into MHT. Another great and pleasant flight. One of your flight attendants on that flight was so friendly and we are now friends on Facebook. Very cool as I love meeting people. I should be working for your airline!!!
