"Scoot needs to learn about customer service."

Review

Scoot has the most arrogant and rude customer service ever. Ground staff at the ticket counter showed no interest in serving passengers. Waited for 30mins in line, and was told to line up again at a different line. When it was our turn, Scoot refused to serve us when we requested to be rebooked on another flight. We were prepared to pay the change fee but they just said that we can't help you rebook. We were unreasonably forced to forfeit our return flight. Unforeseen circumstances meant that we couldn't take the original flight. This airline simply needs to train their staff in customer service. I don't think that Scoot is even worth one star. At least they got the livery colour -yellow - correct. Buy a scoot ticket and you will get a lemon.

"Scoot is a Scam Airline"

Review

Do not trust them to get you to your destination. They will leave you stranded. This airline cheats and scams customers in every way possible. Scoot will cancel flights and will never notify passengers. They will not refund anything. Scoot airlines is a disgrace.

"Unhappy customer"

Review

Scoot has zero customer service. They do not answer calls, do not reply to emails and do not respond to customer complaints send through their website. Scoot cancelled a flight and they do not bother to compensate or refund any moneys paid. This airline deserves to have its license cancelled permanently so that it cannot cheat any more people. Shame on you Scoot for looting your customers.

"Very Poor Service"

Review

I have travelled from gold coast, Australia to Hong Kong via Singapore. I have bought scoot-thru for the trip. However, when returning from the Hong Kong at check-in counter told me that he can't issue the boarding pass from Singapore to Gold Coast because I didn't bought it!
I tried to convince him that I have bought the scoot-thru. But he was so arrogant after my comment. He didn't even mention me as sir or at least with my name. The way he was talking with me was like a boss talking with his servant! I didn't argue with him anymore!
When I reached at Chang, Singapore, at Transfer E told them about the issue, they also replied that I don't have scoot-thru, then I showed them the ticket and they believed me. I also told them about the thing happened in Hong Kong airport.
They told it happens some time! They weren't even show me courtesy by saying sorry. Here, they treated me like they are doing me a favor by issuing the boarding pass.

"Filthy aircraft, leaking air conditioning. Never again."

Scoot's planes are very dirty. Food wrappers and general trash of previous passengers were left under seats and in the back seat pockets. Looks like Scoot doesn't really care about cleanliness of their aircrafts. Their air conditioning system is also faulty with water dripping from it. My jacket became damp and I had to tolerate this for the whole flight as there were no other seats available. Flight attendants don't really seem to care either. Will not be recommending this airline to anyone.

"Terrible airline with the worst customer service ever."

I was booked to travel on Scoot from Singapore to Coolangatta. I was unfortunate to be one of the last passengers to be checking in after having arrived from a delayed flight earlier. When I got to the check in counter, I was rudely told by one of the check in staff that the flights are overbooked and I am unable to travel on this flight. I was shocked that even with a confirmed booking I was not allowed to fly. The airline staff showed no interest in assisting with rebooking me and just said to me that there are no more flights tonight. Scoot staff showed little care and concern. They did not provide any compensation for the additional expenses that I incurred on international phone calls, meals and accommodation. I bought a new ticket with another airline at the walk up rate as I was not prepared to wait another 3 or more days for the next available scoot flight. Scoot did not compensate for the new tickets either. After arriving home, I contacted Scoot requesting them to refund my money back to my bank account. They replied and said that they were looking into it. It has now been weeks since my trip and they are still holding on to my money. This airline cheats customers and a confirm scoot booking means nothing. I used to travel regularly with this airline, but after this incident, I will never fly with them ever again.

"Pathetic airline that does not honour bookings"

After having paid in full and holding a valid booking, Scoot refused to let me take the flight and aparently sold my seat to another customer. I was denied boarding and I still cant get them to refund my money. It has been three weeks and they are yet to reply to my emails. This airline has got zero customer service. Scoot is a scam airline that cheats customers by not honouring bookings and not refunding money for seats that they cant provide.

"Never fly with Scoot again!!!"

Review

Shit company with shitty customer service staff. Claim admin fees of $50 to give back refunds for bookings that they refuse to honor. Admin fees were never indicated on website and their customer service staff are incompetent and rude.

"Scoot the worse airline"

Dear All,

It’s really depressing to see an SIA owned subsidiary Scoot behaving in this manner. I was planning a trip with my Girlfriend to Australia so we decided to take Scoot since we would like to support Singapore carrier.

Unfortunately, it turns out to be a disaster, I booked a flight from Singapore to Sydney, TZ2 on 9th Feb 2016, which is, about 44 days advance of the flight. Unfortunately, the plane scheduled for this flight was changed to a smaller plane where our original selection of seats (window) is no longer available. Therefore, we got allocated to another seats selected by the airline, which is entirely different from our initial selections.

The upsetting part is the airline does not even bother to send an email or call to notify us about the changes and just expect us to know out of the blue. We only discovered it when we did the online check in. I called Scoot to seek clarification and to my horror, I was on the phone for almost 35 mins where I was put on hold for a whopping 25 mins. The operator named Gemini was also another disappointment, not only she was not able to solve my issue on the seats arrangement, she was also not able to get me her supervisor.

SIA is an established and well-known brand and its really sad their subsidiary Scoot could fail so badly. Just a word of caution to all, do think twice about taking scoot.

"Disappointing Trip to Singapore"

This was the first time I travelled with Scoot, normally I fly Qantas.

My wife payed to get aisle seat allocation, at check in I was told due to distribution of load (passengers) I was going to have to move to the rear of the plane. At that point I was unaware that my wife had paid a premium for the seat, and the person at the check in desk made no mention of this. When I realised this I complained in the boarding lounge. While I was discussing this with a lady who was trying to deal with my complaint and others when one of the Scoot Attendants chipped in and told me to read the fine print in my contract. I told her she shouldn't use this excuse as a first option, and that I had flown many times (currently Silver Member) with Qantas and never been bumped to another seat, or told to read the fine print in my contract. She decided to have the final word and again told me to read the fine print.

The take away from this exchange was:
1. Little or know training on how to deal with customer complaints.
2. When you charge for everything, including seating allocation you should be obliged to honour the deal, or at least offer to refund the seat price.
