"I concur, that Scoot do not want your business"

Booked online with Scoot from Tokyo to Taipei. I chose to deselect the option of choosing my own seat as I did not want to pay for it. However upon payment I realised that it kept adding the charge on, even though I kept going back to de-select the option. So eventually I thought I would just get my money re-imbursed at Check-in since I didn't actually book my seat but the website kept charging me as if I had. Upon arrival at Scoot Check-In they didn't want to know anything about it, and fobbed me off to some obscure website to get me out of their hair, although they DID acknowledge that I had been charged for seat selection. To add insult to injury they stuck me in a middle seat in the middle row, an very uncomfortable seat! So essentially I paid for a seat that no one would buy! I emailed the website they gave me but they insisted that there could be no way possible that anything was wrong with their website, it HAD to be my fault for selecting it! Urgh, another airline with poor customer service. And when Scoot first started I thought they might be different, but not so unfortunately, just another to add to the dismal list of airlines with poor customer service and high dissatisfaction rates. Bad customer service, it seems to be the evolution with low cost carriers, and Scoot is no exception.

"They don't want your business."

Review

Unfortunately, there are a few idiots working at singapore airport row 10 at terminal 2. I needed to rebook a flight due to a misconnection, but the people working at Scoot are so disinterested. I went with China Southern and it turn out to be cheaper.

"Awful experience. Avoid at all cost"

Dreadful experience flying with Scoot on TZ 26 to Melbourne. Scoot's treatment of customers is appaling. Over 7 hours of flying with no drinks or food. Staff refused to accept foreign currency, and we had to argue before being serve a small cup of water to last the entire flight. The plane's lavatories are filthy; no hand soap provided which poses a hygiene issue on board. Very inexperience pilots as the landing was very rough and bumpy. Choose another airlne as it seems that the people working for Scoot have not been trained at all.

"Very poor service and rude staff"

Review

Flight delayed by over 10 hours. Ground staff are incompetent, disorganised and rude. They refused to give an explanation to the lengthy delay and no compensation was ever provided. Worst budget airline in Asia.

"Unscrupulous practices by Scoot"

Review

Prepaid vegetarian meals that were booked at the time of ticket reservations were not honoured on the day of flight. No other suitable choices left. Was left to starve for the whole 8 hours of the flight. No compensation or refunds ever given. The way they run their airline business is unscrupulous - charging passengers for on-board products and then failing to deliver as promised. They will also screw your wallet dry for drinking water. 4 dollars for a small bottle of water - what a joke! Scoot flights are torturous. Thumbs down to you, Scoot, for the way you treat your passengers!

"Very disorganised. The worst business cabin in the skies."

Arrived at the ScootBiz line, but no check-in agent was on duty. Waited like a fool, as the economy passengers were all being checked in. They are very disorganised. Had to remind them several times regarding seat allocations. Boarding was a complete mess with no priority given to business class passengers. Food was disgusting, soggy ham croissants. Seats are definitely not business class but premium economy at best. For the price paid, I'll be avoiding travelling on this airline in future as you get better service in economy class on a full service airline.

"Treated with disrespect"

Review

Arrived into Singapore and was on transit to Sydney. Went to the transfer counter E at Singapore Terminal 2 and the Scoot ground staff said that I had to exit the airport and re check in landside. I said that this should not be the case because I was not exiting at SIngapore. THey wanted money - 40SGD to issue our boarding pass. Not having any singapore currency, I exited and followed to check in. THe check in agent said that we arrived too late and refused to check us in. Explained to them that we were told to leave airside because they wouldnt issue boarding passes at transfer counter. Scoot staff were extremely rude and disrespectful, and I was treated very very badly. Was made to purchased new tickets with another airline. The staff at Scoot are all crooks. Never fly with this useless piece of rubbish airline.

"Can't get a glass of water"

Review

I was out of money but I had not expected Scoots staff on the flight not to let me have a glass of water.
I complained. It was a wate of time.
Water becomes all important when you cannot get it
