Dreadful company
We were allowed to boar plane in Keflavik on our way to Boston, only to find, nonexistent seats, that we had paid for! we were then ordered off plane, as surprise surprise it had been overbooked. We wasted 24 hours of our holiday being messed around - 6 months later not been fully compensated, with no explanation. Dreadful company, will never fly with them again - no customer service, no customer relations, little effective customer communication.

One carry-on bag rule (sometimes)
On my way back to Boston, I had my carry on bag tagged at the ticket desk and headed to the gate to board. Two fight attendants were there. They took one look at my brother and I and pulled the cord across to stop us from moving forward. No hello, no acknowledgement, just them continuing their conversation as if we didn't exist. I waited a few minutes and then interrupted them to ask about boarding. The blonde proceeded to tell me it will be a few minutes and I would have to check my carry-on. I pointed out the tag issued at the counter as a carry-on and was told to either place my handbag inside the suitcase or pay to check the "carry-on". I informed her the carry-on will be FREE based on my travel package and that I wasn't paying a fee. I also, pointed out the man at the front counter should have taken my bag downstairs if it was going to an issue AND that I carried both coming in from Boston. She told me that they weren't following the rules of only one bag. (handbag, carry-on) So explain to me a young woman was able to bring her 2 bags? The red one was huge and much bigger than my small carry-on. I was not going to let this one person ruin my nice 61st birthday trip to Iceland. I took a photo of her bags which I included in this review.

worst airline
Wow is simply the Internet Thief – backed by Google Flights. They advertise as the lowest fair airline, while the actual fairs are high, considering obnoxious fees they charge for check-in and cabin luggage plus everything else, such as DRINKING WATER and every other food item. We as consumers should boycott wow air once and unite in filing a CLASS ACTION LAW SUITE against the airline and false advertisement they are engaged in, backed up by power of Google. Wow charged me luggage fees for ONE checked-in lugged under 20 kilos – not once but FOUR times on my round trip from Boston to Paris via Reykjavik: twice for each trip because they did not have a direct flight to Paris but fly the very same plane with one stop, using that to charge the luggage fee twice every way. SHAME ON WOW AIR & ALL THEIR MANAGER-THIEVES.

Communication poor; Check-in poor; Flight attendants good.
The check-in lady did not return my papers that I handed her, which included my flight schedule etc. I didn't realize she didn't return them to me until I was on the plane. Upon arrival at my destination, I asked for a re-print of my papers but was dismissed, "You can check in on the day you return" and she was of no further help. The flight attendants were friendly and helpful. The e-mails I get from WOW airlines are garbled, mostly a long string of "<><><><><><><><><><><><>" with no text. I called and told them, but they don't fix it. So I have no idea they are trying to tell me in their e-mails.

Not ready for prime time
I chose my dates of departure and return because of the prices on that day and then was charged some other random higher amount. No explanation has been given despite emails over 2 weeks back and forth. They charge you what they want.
