"Spacious concourses; air traffic busy on fridays"

Review

I used this airport for my holidays in the U.S. I was transiting through PHL coming from Europe before taking a connected flight to California. Waiting time at immigration desk was a bit long and I started to worry about the following steps that can be time-consuming: pick up our luggage, passport control again, check in our luggage again, security controls again...
But I was really amazed of the efficency of the system. A lot of people are hired to make this works and we spent just 20 minutes to get to our boarding gate. But this airport seems to be really busy on fridays beacause the second flight was nearly 2 hours late at first, and then we were stucked in the plane for nearly an hour, waiting for take off with about 20 other aircrafts!
