Awesome!
Flew on Wow from Paris to Baltimore, with a layover in Iceland. Had gotten a great deal on the price and the flights went smoothly. I would fly Wow again!

Wow Air is a SCAM
After they intentionally departed us from BWI, lying to us, knowing they were canceling their flights in Iceland (KEF), June 9/10 2016, we were totally abandoned without any form of customer service in Iceland at the airport. After hours of confusion, we went to the IcelandAir service desk, booked a flight to Paris, which was our destination. It cost us an additional $1,145, passing through Oslo, arriving 13 hours after our original time, but we got there. Upon return to the USA, I tried submitting a claim with Wow Air, but they provide only an email address (wow@wow.is) which provides an initial LIP SERVICE but plays DEAD when they never follow up on ANYTHING and then stop even sending their form-letter responses back. WOW AIR IS A SCAM! I've given it a few month to resolve, but now I will file a complaint with my state's (Virginia) Attorney General, Mark Herring, my state District's Attorney, John Fishwick, my congressman, Bob Goodlatte, and my senators, Mark Warner and Tim Kaine.

WOW=Worst Of the World! And I have flown commuters in Africa!
Where do I begin? Using an Airbus A330 in its city commuter configuration for intercontinental flights, a real joke! Older, noisy and smelly plane, 10 degrees F temperature difference between various sections, Seats made of rock, 2 out of 6 bathrooms inoperative half-way to destination, $3 instant coffee (no refill), a miracle they don't charge for sugar or cream, $10 for a miserable slice of soggy pizza, $20 for an iPad rental if you want music, games of movies. And let's not forget the stupendous $70 charge for checking in a 12 lbs bag. So if you add the base price of the flight ($310), the various fees and taxes ($90), soggy food & drinks ($30), lame entertainment package ($20), you just paid $520 for a third-world flying experience. Add $50 bucks or less and you'll be styling on Norwegian, Air France or Delta in new, quiet, clean aircraft with 2 free bags, free food, coffee, drinks, entertainment, a blanket if you want to sleep in comfort and without the incessant and annoying solicitation to buy more stuff. And to top it all off, they managed to have a faulty front wheel that took 2 1/2 hours to fix before take-off. I think some angels were watching over us on this one. WOW! Never again! Note to FAA: It is customary that announcements are made in English as well as in native airline language. Not on WOW, if you don't understand Icelansisk, you're out of luck, God forbid there was a real emergency.

Excellent Transportation
I travel to move from one location to another at a reasonable price and reliably. WOW does all of that with excellent legroom in economy. Their on time performance is no worse than the full fare carriers. I am perfectly happy to bring my own food and drink and laptop for entertainment if I can save $800 on a return fare. They are not petty with carry on baggage dimensions. As a 20,000 hour pilot, I feel competent to judge that the flight crew are in charge of the aircraft, not the reverse. Cross wind landing at KEF was perfect and touchdown in SFO showed who was in charge. Whenever feasible, my wife and I will look for a WOW flight

worst airline
Wow is simply the Internet Thief – backed by Google Flights. They advertise as the lowest fair airline, while the actual fairs are high, considering obnoxious fees they charge for check-in and cabin luggage plus everything else, such as DRINKING WATER and every other food item. We as consumers should boycott wow air once and unite in filing a CLASS ACTION LAW SUITE against the airline and false advertisement they are engaged in, backed up by power of Google. Wow charged me luggage fees for ONE checked-in lugged under 20 kilos – not once but FOUR times on my round trip from Boston to Paris via Reykjavik: twice for each trip because they did not have a direct flight to Paris but fly the very same plane with one stop, using that to charge the luggage fee twice every way. SHAME ON WOW AIR & ALL THEIR MANAGER-THIEVES.

Not a forgiving airline READ ALL POLICIES, TERMS & CONDITIONS**
Warning... Just my and about 9 of my family members experience. I was booked on wow to go to Paris for my 40th birthday celebration. We choose wow because of the cheap rates.... Didn’t read that every purchase was a la carte. We were emailed between each purchase to buy more services, we purchased our seats *cheapest ones were 6 dollars many of those seats do not recline) we were sent another email to purchase ahead of time luggage fare which would almost double if we purchased at the airline, sent another email and advised us that we would need to pay for food on the flight (what??? Food is not included in the ticket on an international flight??) Among other things. This is not how the story ends. The Paris attacks happened two days before our scheduled flights to Paris. In lieu of this we asked for good faith refunds as we did from every company we pre purchased services for from trains, to hotels, to Moulin rouge, etc... All gave refunds except wow, who advised me that they could give only airport taxes refund (please note there is no way to identify exactly how much the airport taxes are from all taxes paid) additionally our pre booked luggage fares paid were not refunded and the flight was definitely not refunded. After several attempts to refund the taxes someone from the airlines emailed me back asking to reread my cc number so that they could perform a refund for partial taxes... Listen folks...between paying a la carte for just about everything...my advice would be to book an airline that will allow for full refund in case of emergencies, has 24-hour customer service and is willing to understand unforeseen circumstances...PS the partial airport tax refund still has not hit my bank. So even if you book....and you ask for any refund...expect a long delay for refunds. Very disappointed...however if you read all you need to read on wow's site prior to booking, you can make an informed decision. I caution you...please read before booking.

Cancelled flight - a nightmare !!
Our flight was scheduled to take-off at 12.35. 5 minutes after we were supposed to take off (at 12.40 then), we got an announcement that our flight was postponed to the next day at 6.50am. But as nothing was certain, we had to wait until 2.30pm for more information; at 2.30pm, no more news, we had to wait. At 4pm, still no news...and we are still currentlyl waiting at CDG airport, spending time to criticize this air company.
