They'll forcefully put your luggage to cargo
When the plane is full or nearly full, or when turbulences are expected, they have a policy to forcefully put to cargo every luggage with wheels, even if the size and weight is within their own limits. I have lost 35 minutes at Orly and 20 a Barcelona because of that. Also they start for the cheapest airport terminal which means longer taxi times for the planes especially at BCN. On overall My BCN => ORY flight was 110 minutes longer with Transavia than what I usually see with Vueling. I Shall probably never fly Transavia again.

WORST + CROOKS + UNSECURE
THE WORST COMPANY ON EARTH. This airline is not SECURE. They charge for everything. My son was traveling from the USA to Europe. He needed to Fly from Charleroi (Belgium) to Barcelona. He had no access to printer and he was charged 70 Euros because he did not print his ticket online!. This should be illegal (they do not have anything for you to print your ticket !!!!!!!!!!) Unbelievable, this behavior is a typical for this "airline". The STEAL from you whatever they can ..think about the SECURITY !. Save your trip and life, stay away from this cheap, crooks and insecure "airline".

CHEAPJET#!#!#!
If you really want to be irritated fly this airline. Fees for luggage and more fees. A small backpack used as a purse with a carryon cost me $50 Euros. Plus after coming off a cruise, a senior and I had to pay 70 euros for being 5KG over our combined weight!!!! Pay $3 euros for a coffee while 4 stewards stand around with little to do. I wonder why??? Obviously this is a company that doesn't care about customer service. Plus, we had to pay $60 euros for our two checked bags to begin our irritating flights from Paris and Barcelona. Never again!!!

Took the same flight 8 Nov 2012 following a 2 week cruise with no issue at all.

I prepaid extra luggage weight and used a pair of travel scales (8 dollars from an airport travel shop) to ensure our baggage weight was right on the money. My wife had her handbag and I had my backpack (again measured using the scale inbuilt measuring tape).

On my flight I saw something similar to Betcams experience and laughed my ass off with the lame excuses given – travel agent didn’t tell me and I didn’t know?

Here’s a novel idea try reading your ticket and booking conditions before you get to the check in counter - I managed this in Perth Australia several weeks out from the flight.

Another tip if you are flying with an advertised and self promoted “low cost” airline check their charges and restrictions in advance? Prior preparation prevents poor performance.

Good Airline and I would have no hesitation flying with them again.

EasyJet-No Way! Part II
We are a family of 2 adults and 2 children so it isn't as straight forward as when travelling solo or as a couple. Apart our disappointment from Luton to Paris with Easyjet now was our second flight with Easyjet to Barcelona. Our flight was due out the next day at about 1pm. The night before at 10:15pm, quite by accident as I was just turning my laptop off but thought that I would check my emails before I did. Thank god I did as an email came through stating that our flight had been cancelled! I had not long before reconfirmed our car pick up time. With a cancellation like this there is a domino affect. The next available flight was at 7am. I had to rebook our car hire for 5am which they were reluctant to do. We arrived six hours early into Barcelona and could not book into our hotel even with paying an early check in fee. The hotel was full and not ready to check us in plus we could not leave our luggage there, 3 suitcases and 4 backpacks all full for our 6 week adventure. We had to drag them to the nearest shopping mall in the very hot Spainish weather and spend 6 hours there waiting for check in. So with 2 out of 2 strikes against them,no more Easyjet for us!
