We are a family of 2 adults and 2 children so it isn't as straight forward as when travelling solo or as a couple. Apart our disappointment from Luton to Paris with Easyjet now was our second flight with Easyjet to Barcelona. Our flight was due out the next day at about 1pm. The night before at 10:15pm, quite by accident as I was just turning my laptop off but thought that I would check my emails before I did. Thank god I did as an email came through stating that our flight had been cancelled! I had not long before reconfirmed our car pick up time. With a cancellation like this there is a domino affect. The next available flight was at 7am. I had to rebook our car hire for 5am which they were reluctant to do. We arrived six hours early into Barcelona and could not book into our hotel even with paying an early check in fee. The hotel was full and not ready to check us in plus we could not leave our luggage there, 3 suitcases and 4 backpacks all full for our 6 week adventure. We had to drag them to the nearest shopping mall in the very hot Spainish weather and spend 6 hours there waiting for check in. So with 2 out of 2 strikes against them,no more Easyjet for us!
