Airport is very stylish in appearance and is very spacious however I encountered two unusual problems.
EasyJet have the now typical rolling check-in for their flights but I when I tried to check in just over 2 hours before departure I was told I was too early and so had to go back to the end of a now very long queue - never had this problem with a rolling check-in elsewhere.
The security & passport control was very quick though once airside the layout is poorly organised - immediately through security you find yourself amid the tables and chairs of the coffee shop and suddenly getting in the way of people who are having a drink - there is plenty of space in this huge terminal, so why they have this crazy arrangement I know not! Apart from that and once away from the chaotic security area there is plenty of space and several other bars and coffee shops. Travel to/from Central Nice is very easy - there is a direct fast bus every 30mins to Nice Ville station for €4 (the daily travel cards are also valid) and I understand that the new tram line will go there too.
