TAP offers more connections to Caracas and more weekly flight to Vienna
The flights are operated with 263-seat Airbus A330 aircraft. Therefore, in addition to the usual five weekly flights (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays departing from Porto, and Sundays) linking Portugal and Venezuela (one of the flights via Funchal), TAP offers two extra flights, on 5 and 12 August, departing Lisbon at 11:10 and arriving in Caracas at 14:50.
On these same days, flights from Caracas to Lisbon will depart at 16:45 and arrive in Lisbon at 09:30 the following morning after a stopover in Funchal, where they will arrive at 5:25 and depart at 7:55.On 2 and 9 September, the flight from Lisbon will depart at 10:00, have a stopover in Funchal at 11:50 and arrive in Caracas at 15:15.
Airline increases weekly flights to Austria inaugurated in May
TAP is to offer one additional weekly flight between Lisbon and Vienna, from 7 August to 18 September, further strengthening flight operations inaugurated in May with five flights per week. This addition is the airline's response to high levels of demand which has achieved flight occupancy rates of over 90 percent during August.
The route will be operated by aircraft from the A320 family which have a capacity of 160 passengers.
The new flight will operate on Sundays departing from Lisbon at 13.00 and arriving at Vienna at 17.25 local time. In the opposite direction the flight departs at 18.10 and arrives in Lisbon at 20.35. The schedule of the existing connections remains unchanged. Flights from Lisbon depart on Wednesdays and Sundays at 09.00 and arrive in Vienna at 13.25. On Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays flights depart from Lisbon at 13.30 and arrive in Vienna at 17.50. On the Vienna/Lisbon return leg, flights operate on the same days with departures at 14.10 on Wednesdays and Sundays, arriving in Lisbon at 16.45. On Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays flights depart from Vienna at 18.35 and arrive in Lisbon at 21.15 local time.
With this additional flight TAP is intensifying its efforts of promoting tourism to Portugal by reinforcing the strategic importance of its Lisbon hub.
