Swiss enhances its first class service

SWISS will be introducing a new service concept for its First Class cabin at the beginning of March. Under the new concept, SWISS First guests will enjoy even swifter and more individualised service, together with an even wider selection of inflight meals. Further on-board SWISS First innovations will include the introduction of contemporary fine bone chinaware and Riedel glasses, together with additional service accessories in a new design.

SWISS’s First Class guests will enjoy an even more tailored and individualised service on board from 2 March onwards. SWISS First customers travelling on night flights will benefit from a quicker service thanks to a new à la carte dining concept that will give them greater choice in how they use their time aloft (or simply a longer sleep).

The new concept means that SWISS’s First Class customers can decide at any time of the day or night not only what they eat but also when they wish to eat. In another innovation, the selection of gourmet meals available under the award-winning SWISS Taste of Switzerland culinary concept is being further supplemented with traditional Swiss dishes such as bratwurst mit rösti (veal sausage with hash browns). An expanded selection of fresh à la carte fare will also be offered prior to landing.

“With our new First Class concept we’re gearing our service even more to our customers’ individual wishes and needs,” says Sarah Klatt-Walsh, Head of Inflight at SWISS. “As a result, we’re giving them as much freedom as possible in how they choose to spend their time on board.”

The new SWISS First service concept is also being accompanied by the provision of quality and contemporary fine bone chinaware and elegant Riedel glasses. Further product innovations will be gradually introduced later this year, including a new amenity kit, pyjamas and comfortable cushions and day blankets, all in a modern design. SWISS will also be further expanding its range of inflight magazines for its First Class guests.
