Lufthansa flying to Moscow's Vnukovo Airport - fares start at 212 Euros

Starting with the summer flight schedules 2012, Lufthansa is flying to Moscow's Vnukovo Airport as a new destination in its route network. The twice-daily flights from Frankfurt will supplement the airline's existing services to Moscow's Domodedovo Airport. From 25 March 2012, Lufthansa will then be laying on six connections daily to the Russian capital.

Of the major international airports serving Moscow, Vnukovo is the closest to the city centre. It takes but 35 minutes to get there on the express train. Additionally, the new Lufthansa destination offers good communications to the Kaluga industrial base, a centre of the automotive industry where a number of foreign companies have established assembly plants.

All in all, with the flights to Moscow-Vnukovo, Lufthansa will be laying on a total of 153 weekly connections between Germany and Russia to nine destinations. Besides the flights to the two Moscow airports, the airline is flying to Nizhniy Novgorod, Perm, Samara, Kazan, St. Petersburg, Rostov and Yekatarinburg.

The fare for the connection between Frankfurt and Vnukovo starts at 212 euros. This fare applies in Economy Class and is inclusive of all taxes and fees for online bookings at lufthansa.com.
