IndiGo launches new flights to Lucknow


IndiGo, India’s largest carrier is further enhancing its customer experience with the launch of twelve new flights on its network. Effective February 01, IndiGo will operate fourth daily and direct flights between Lucknow and Delhi, and a direct flight between Lucknow to Bengaluru , Lucknow to Goa via Delhi and Ahemdabad. The new flights are designed to cater to business and leisure travelers who are constantly on the lookout for new and affordable flying options.

These new services will further consolidate IndiGo’s position as the fastest growing airline in India, with its 303 flights connecting 31 destinations across the nation and abroad. Both corporate and leisure customers travelling from these destinations will now have the opportunity to experience the hassle-free, on-time performance that IndiGo is synonymous with.

Speaking on the occasion Aditya Ghosh, President, IndiGo said “Expanding operations in Lucknow is in line with our growth strategy outlined for the domestic skies. We have added direct flights on Lucknow–Bengaluru–Lucknow sector. In addition we are also adding our 4th daily service on Lucknow–Delhi–Lucknow sector and Lucknow–Goa–Lucknow via Delhi and Ahmedabad routes. These new additional flights will enable better connectivity with Lucknow which lies at the heart of commerce and politics of India.

Ghosh further added, “We are looking at providing affordable fares on these new routes for 6E travelers. IndiGo will continue to expand its network to meet the requirements of both business and leisure travelers wherever they demand it. It is our constant endeavour to provide more flexibility of choice for our customers as IndiGo continues to offer them on time, courteous and hassle free and always affordable flying experience.”
