Airberlin will fly nonstop from Berlin to Los Angeles, fares starting from 349.99 Euro one-way

Airberlin is expanding its long-distance portfolio from Berlin to North America: when the Summer Flight Schedule begins in May 2012, Germany’s second largest airline will fly for the first time non-stop from Berlin to Los Angeles and link the German capital to the west coast of the USA three times a week.

This means that airberlin is the only airline company operating directly between Berlin and Los Angeles. At the same time, airberlin is increasing its number of flights from Berlin to New York. Up to now, you could fly four days a week to the „Big Apple“, but from May 2012 flights are available daily.

And airberlin is also expanding its operations from Berlin to Poland. As of May 2012 you can fly non-stop from Berlin to Gdansk. Up to two flights per day will be available to the Polish seaport. airberlin operated flights to Gdansk in Summer 2010. Now this resumption of operations will be supported by the linking of Gdansk to the Berlin hub. The airline is increasing flights to Krakow from the current four flights per week to twelve. This constant link between Danzig and Krakow and Berlin will result in 750 additional transfer connections at the airport.

A one-way ticket to Los Angeles in the Economy Class costs from 349.99 Euro, in the Business Class from 1,339.99 Euro. Flight connections come from various German and European cities. Flights to Gdansk can be booked one-way from 44.99 Euro.
