Review

My review will be very short....JFK is to damn big, to far to travel between terminals, poorly laid out, so many people did not speak English here, I thought I was in another country. WOW, what a experience....hopefully, never again!!!

"Thieves"

They are untrustworthy thieves. Just think these guys sell little sandwiches all over the airport and do not display prices. When you ask they tell you it’s $8.70 (before tax).

Any reputable business would display prices cleary but these guys are dishonest. My opinion is avoid travelling to NY there are much more beautiful cites around the world and much cheaper. This is the United Stated of America you expect honesty to be paramount, but crooks have got hold of this country and they've lost the plot. If you have to come here bring your own food and drink from the water fountain.

Review

It's sad really. JFK was once a crown jewel of airports in those glorious, jet-setting PanAm days. But decades of neglect and disrepair took their toll. The decision to allow each airline to develop its own terminal design has resulted in a Frankenstein-nightmare for the traveler's pre- and post-flight experience. Terminals 5 and 8 are the best in terms of accessibility, shops, food and services. But getting around all those terminals -- especially if you're rushed for your flight -- is still a royal pain.

"Avoid JFK if possible"

Review

This is a terrible airport. I met very rude staff particularly at immigration where they herded us for one hour in a crowded area. The airport is huge and it is easy to get lost, but don't count on people working here they won't help you. And don't forget to avoid JFK if possible when you have a connection.
