Whell, not as good as I thought. The seat was quite uncomftortable without a pillow behind your head so this was a let down. A small meal was served 1 hour after departure and it was quite good and tasteful. The flight was smooth even though I couldn't sleep. Long story short, I think they should make their A321's better.
This is without a doubt, the worst airline in a world filled with horrible decaying service and shrinking seats and inexplicable delays.
First off I must say I am only 12 years old and I'm very surprised since this is the 21st century! What world am I living in? Is this what I'm bargaining for my future family? For my future hopes and dreams? The Playmobil is more efficient than this ****!
Ok anyways, since there were NO direct flights from Budapest to Berlin we had to change planes. The first plane that we went on was from Budapest, Hungary to Munich, Germany, then switch planes from Munich to Berlin, Germany.
My first plane from Budapest, Hungary to Munich, Germany was scheduled at 1:00pm but soon got CANCELLED because of a broken wheel on the plane! My parents, sister, grandparents and I had to wait several hours (to be specific, we had to wait 6 hours to get on the next plane to Munich, which was at 7:00 pm)! Therefore because of that in-efficient little incident we also missed our plane from Munich airport to Berlin at 3:00pm!
Meanwhile waiting for the plane to board we tried going to a lounge called Lufthansa Lounge. My family and I walked into the lounge and it was full of people and no space (by the way it was all filled with old people)! We tried checking in but they denied our Star Alliance card, despite the fact that we have used it all over the ENTIRE WORLD!!!!!!! Then, my daddy got very upset and started screaming (I don't blame him)! We stampeded out of there and tried going to the other lounge which was upstairs.
We came in to the next lounge and it was empty! We went to the front desk, and she gladly accepted the Star Alliance card but said we couldn't go in, because we were traveling with Lufthansa and told us to go back to the PREVIOUS Lufthansa lounge that we had tried going to before.
We were extremely mad so we went to this one of many cheap restaurant in the airport called "Hippopotamus." The food looked beautiful in the menus but when we got our orders I begged to differ... The food was DISGUSTING!!!!! YUCK! I ordered a salad and dear God, I don't know how you can mess up a salad.
Despite the food, the cocktails were really good (hahaha)! We ended up staying in the restaurant for about 4 hours! Then I had enough, and I immediately found a Thai massage center right across from the restaurant! I was so happy, I asked my mom for a 15 minute massage and let me just say it was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!! I highly recommend this massage center by the way.
After waiting for FOREVER for the stupid plane to board we got on and guess what? They put my dad on Standby! My dad got very very mad, and soon enough the lady let him got on. And just to top it off, this stupid airline LOST my moms luggage! I could continue to go on a rant but it is so pointless! I really really recommend under any circumstance, never fly Lufthansa! I would never recommend to fly with Lufthansa. The staff are very rude and not friendly at all !
when giving out meals they only have Non-veg. We asked the staff for a vegetarian option and she was soooo rude she said it is 'Too much effort to make vegetarian options'. I found that completely rude. So what they tried to say was they rather keep their vegetarian passengers starving than too cook them food because they think it is too much effort - REALLY PATHETIC !!!!!!!!!
No entertainment at all. Small Leg room space and very uncomfortable seats !
Not value for money !
I would NEVER fly with Lufthansa again I rather put in a few extra pounds and fly with a better airline like EMIRATES, where the quality of service is guaranteed !

Worst ever. Dated, very uncomfortable seats, arrogant non caring employees. I have been much better treated in economy on other carriers. Don't waste your money.
"Get what you pay for, good, comfortable but no bells & whistles"
We have taken Lufthansa several times from New York to India, into Bombay (Mumbai -- Don't you wish the Indians would stop changing the names of almost everyplace?) and out of New Delhi and the service is always good and a reasonable price for what you get. Now that they have flat 180 degree seats the experience is much improved. Although the fares have risen for business class this year (2013-14) you can count on receiving real business class service AND at least for us, they have never lost any our bags, which Air France did regularly! Also Frankfurt airport is really a fun stop -- full of great shops and interesting food. So the time you spend there isn't boring. The Germans know how to take care of their passengers in an efficient and careful way. We have never had a complaint about Lufthansa and are not disappointed by their business class service.
Lufthansa cancelled our original flight from Barcelona to Atlanta. When they re-booked our flight, not only is it 4 hours longer with an additional stop but they would not honor our business class seats even though they had availability. Do not ever fly this airline.
"Bad attitude "
I had a bad experience with a long travel with the airline. Just when I have a seat and I slept for a few minutes and miss out the drink offer and then I request for three cups of water. The male stewardess shout at me that there will be a second round and even order me to drop the wet towels to his collection first. After almost one hour I did not get any drink and another lady offer me drinks right after I made the request. Also at one time I return one set of breakfast to that stewardess, he seized it with force. It was quite an unpleasant experience and I was not that this airline after this.M
"DO NOT USE!"
I found my flight with Lufthansa horrible! Firstly we had 3 adults with 3 children under 12 months. We arrived at the airport at 3am ready for our 6:30am flight. We were the 2nd people there waiting to check in only to find they didn't open the desks until 5am!!!! By this time about 150 people were queuing at the desk. The Lufthansa staff then walked in and told everyone to self check in at some machines! This was chaotic bearing in mind we had 3 screaming babies! And then we couldn't check in ourselves so after queuing for hours we had to queue again so someone at the desk could check us in!! Then the man behind the desk made us feel very uncomfortable about checking in! After checking in we then got on our 10 hour flight. Having booked the bassinettes we was looking forward to putting the babies down. Then after take off a lady approached me saying there was only 2 bassinettes available, I said this would be fine however she returned appologetic saying she had given all our bassinettes to other passengers by mistake an now couldn't take them back. Therefore we had a 10 hour flight with 3 babies between 3 of us and no cots. We couldn't eat, drink or sleep!! Absolute nightmare! Not one of your team offered help or support with anything! In fact, one of your team approached me as my son was crying and said I couldn't put him on the floor for 2 mins as he was throwing himself around! We had 2 strangers sat in between us which was a nightmare as you can imagine with 3 tired babies with no cot. There was no food for our babies (9 month old twins and 16 month old) and when we asked for some they said they had none spare :-/ so now our kids weren't only tired but also starving! I asked them to warm bottles up and was made to feel uncomfortable about it! Absolutely ridiculous! Your staff was also speaking in german to eachother right next to us which made me feel uneasy! Our flight home was much better with Lufthansa with much better service! But my flight there was horrendous so I will not risk flying with these again!! We flew 27 hours to Australia with my 13 week old son and it was fantastic! I was very disappointed with your service!
After a previous bad experience with a SWISS I was a little worried about a trip with Lufthansa, but everything was different. After also perfect route from BUD to PEK via MUC with the A340-600 with great sevice and nice staff I was looking forward to the return flight with the A380-800 and was also why... The aircraft new and comfortable with enough space to sit and relax with a pretty decent offer entertainment system. Food tasty and sufficient. Metal cutlery added an even better feeling of eating. The highlight of my trip was incredibly nice and helpful staff who made my trip by plane from one of my greatest experiences in the aircraft at all. I want to thank to Martina Lissak and E. Alexandrova as well as all the staff in my section of the aircraft and tolerant passengers seated around a really pleasant flight. I really ENJOYED it! Thanks again.
"A380 - Never Again"
FRA to SFO - The most uncomfortable plane. The seat bottoms are too thin. The seat backs recline too far. Lufthansa flight attend. had to ask each traveler to push their seat back up everytime there was a meal served. If you sit by the window and you need to go to the toilet, you need to ask the center and aisle seat person to exit PLUS the center and aisle person in the row in front to put their seat up. 4 people need to move to get out.
