You don't get what you pay for!
Purchased extra leg-room both ways and did not receive it. Airline map on the web site doesn't match the actual plane so extra leg-room seats are labelled incorrectly. Flight crew has no access to reservations so they could do nothing although they were polite and said it happens a lot. Food we pre ordered and paid for was not on the flight. Also, we paid to bring on a larger carry on bag but felt foolish because no one checked the bags that were going onto the plane.

No Accountability
WOW failed to load my luggage. It stayed behind at LAX, and it took WOW 4 days to reunite me with my bag. So far so bad. It get's worse. My bag, clothes, and equipment were returned to me badly damaged with perforation holes, scratches, and gashes. I had purchased the bag and camping/surfing equipment just prior to my trip. After 2 months of back and forth with the WOW luggage department- dealing with lost and delayed luggage- I have now given up on any financial compensation for damaged luggage and the cost I occurred purchasing toiletries, clothes, shoes, jacket, etc. WOW even went so far to ask me to approach my credit card for compensation first. I was not even the worst off. A family with little children had no stroller, a couple on a booked hiking trip had no equipment, an elderly lady was asked to wait for at least an hour for her luggage, although she was hardly able to stand, and we had to help her with seating arrangements, contacting her hotel, filing forms while she was waiting. So many people without their luggage were not receiving any help. Poor attitude was shown by the WOW ground reps. On a minor note: I continued with WOW to Dusseldorf but decided to send my luggage back with my son on another airline, just to be safe. The total hours of delayed flights from LAX to KEF to DUS and return: 9.5 hours. Unfortunately, this fly-by-night airline is untrustworthy and utterly unprofessional in dealing with customers. Low budget airline should not mean low attitude towards service. I loved my Iceland trip despite the financial losses and will return with my family. WOW will not be part of any future travels. Really a shame, because WOW looked like a viable alternative for our regular trips to Europe. Lost baggage department operates out of India. They communicate in poor English and do not respond coherently.

WOW=Worst Of the World! And I have flown commuters in Africa!
Where do I begin? Using an Airbus A330 in its city commuter configuration for intercontinental flights, a real joke! Older, noisy and smelly plane, 10 degrees F temperature difference between various sections, Seats made of rock, 2 out of 6 bathrooms inoperative half-way to destination, $3 instant coffee (no refill), a miracle they don't charge for sugar or cream, $10 for a miserable slice of soggy pizza, $20 for an iPad rental if you want music, games of movies. And let's not forget the stupendous $70 charge for checking in a 12 lbs bag. So if you add the base price of the flight ($310), the various fees and taxes ($90), soggy food & drinks ($30), lame entertainment package ($20), you just paid $520 for a third-world flying experience. Add $50 bucks or less and you'll be styling on Norwegian, Air France or Delta in new, quiet, clean aircraft with 2 free bags, free food, coffee, drinks, entertainment, a blanket if you want to sleep in comfort and without the incessant and annoying solicitation to buy more stuff. And to top it all off, they managed to have a faulty front wheel that took 2 1/2 hours to fix before take-off. I think some angels were watching over us on this one. WOW! Never again! Note to FAA: It is customary that announcements are made in English as well as in native airline language. Not on WOW, if you don't understand Icelansisk, you're out of luck, God forbid there was a real emergency.

WOW refuses to help
I am incredibly disappointed with WOW Air. I decided to give this airline a chance, despite their poor ratings online, and I lost out BIG TIME!! I had experienced the most rude manager I've ever met at WOW. So rude, that she did not let us board my international flight, even though the flight was there, the tarmac connected. She rudely gave us a number to call, only when we called, her own company rep said to board the plane. Their own manager ignored the request AND ignored the request to speak with her own company!! Her rudeness and personal ignorance caused us to miss our flight, and cost us to purchase a 1-way flight to our destination for #WYD #WorldYouthDay which ended up costing $2,800+ for each passenger. #WOWair also never refunded our original flight. Never looked into trying to help us book another flight because of our situation, and to top it all off, the manager sarcastically asked, "How can I help you" after she purposefully ignored us for 15min+ only to tell us to leave the area because there's another flight setting up for Heathrow. WHAT A JOKE!! This airline does NOT care for it's customers, and their "cheaper" cost, ended up costing me more than a 1st class flight to anywhere in the world!!!! It's hard not to complain, but their lack of resolving this issue in any format really is what drew me to let others know.
