Total blackout on 11 hour day flight
Never again on a B787 Dreamliner on ANY airline, as the window blinds are electronic and are controlled by the crew. On this 11 hour-long day flight the windows were blacked out by the crew for most of the flight. A window seat therefore had the disadvantage of being a cramped-in restricted space. I am always considerate of my neighbours with the window blinds but I like to have the choice of looking out at the view if I want to. On the 787 - you have no choice. For over 8 hours were were blacked out and no room to move. The advantage of the electronic window blinds I was told are that they are less weight. This was also the first time on a plane that after a few hours into the flight i felt nauseous and faint. I only just made it to the toilet to be able to put my head down and feel better. I was told that they limit the oxygen supply for economic reason. It seems to me that the cost cutting practices of Airlines & aircraft manufacturers are for the benefit of the 'suits' in the finance department and not for the passengers. I will avoid 787's in the future. The Norwegian Service is cheaper than the competition, and I noticed that most of my fellow passengers were younger age group (backpackers ?) But by the time you have paid the extra to for a 20 kg bag, had a snack or meal, and had the choice of a seat reserved in advance added to the basic fare- a lot of the advantage over the competition had been trimmed down. In terms of comfort - I will always go for an A330 or A340 or 767 to get the chance of 2 abreast seating. On the return flight from JFK to Gatwick i selected 34B - one of the few 2 abreast rows on the Norwegian 787. It was slightly better-but still very cramped. I'd pay a bit more for comfort .

KLM STEALS YOUR MONEY!
DO NOT EVER USE KLM! They are scammers and will cheat you out of your money! My friend and I had booked an August flight to Ibiza and last minute had to cancel due to work. We resecheduled one day apart for a September flight to London. I had to pay a difference of almost $200 for the flight change, meanwhile to make the same change my friend was not only NOT charged, but credited almost $200 towards another flight AND given some kind of mileage option that I wasn't. When I called to ask if I could have my payment refunded, they declined and said that it just wasn't doable. DO NOT USE THEM! I REPEAT DO NOT! Also, Osa Johnson was the supervisor whom I spoke to who refused my service. Do not expect even an ounce of help from Osa.

My preferred trans-atlantic airline
Quick and efficient connection at Heathrow in T5 - although security screening a bit of a holdup (BAA get your finger out). LAX flight by Boeing 747 which can feel cramped in economy although decent personal IFE system, good food and beverage service help to alleviate 11 hour journey. Even managed a snooze. Same experience on return. Decent price, service and value balance.

Bait & Switch
I went to British Airways to buy our tickets, because that is who we wish to fly with. I did not buy them through Priceline or some other mass media advert, but on British Airways website. Our flight is (Brithish Air) BA1509, only it is a BAIT & SWITCH! They put us on American Airlines. We HATE American Air! This is not who we wanted or bought with! We were told it would be $2,500.00 per PERSON to fix! What a joke! We have opened a complaint with the BBB, and I will shout it to all I know, BRITISH AIR IS A BUNCH OF CROOKS!!!!

Unless you have booked another flight on the day and they rebooked you themselves for that flight without asking ok, otherwise I don't see a reason why you are raising a complain or why you have written the review.

It was clearly stated on the booking process online that the flight was operated by AA and not BA; I know cause I 've been booking online from their website for almost 4 years now and it is always been the case from which airline a flight is operated on the booking process when you select which flight exactly you want.
As for the fee they asked it depends on when you actually asked for the ''correction'' which is actually a change on your original plans, for example if you asked it on the airport just before you travel, oh yep its gonna hurt; otherwise it depends on the terms and conditions of the tickets selling class.

Sorry but the only thing I see here based on what I read is just a pissed off passenger for a mistake they did originally.
