TERRIBLE AIRLINE
the fact that after writing several reviews for this company they all seem to be the same! This airline sucks! Not worth the money and definitely not worth all the headaches they put you through. I had a direct flight to Hawaii there and back. Trip there was ok not the best but doable. the flight home was canceled after a 2 hour delay waiting ON THE PLANE!! After arguing with the company and getting our info for hotels they comped, bit Whoop! having to book new flights, which they forced me and my mom to take a layover in LA because "Nothing else was available" later after doing my own work that, that was completely false and they were just to lazy to do their job they were hired for. they hire incompetent and extremely disrespectful personal, they aren't willing to help you even after solving their problems and doing their job. But on the flight home our flight was again delayed by 3 hours and after checking online before arriving to the airport it said it was good with no delays. after finding out of the delay i asked to find a new flight home and the only thing he kept doing was to cut me off mid sentence and not even bother looking when i asked him to find a new flight for me and my mom. like do your job guy!!!! after finding a new flight myself they didn't want to release my checked bag to me so i can get back home on a direct flight instead of one with a layover. again, do your job guy!!!! i could go on but i wrote enough but overall DO NOT FLY WITH THIS AIRLINE OR AMERICAN they are the exact same way with dealing with their own problems! lack of responsibility on their behalf.

Worst travel experience ever.
We flew Hawaiian Sydney to LA, LA to Las Vegas, Las Vegas to Hawaii and are due to fly back to Sydney tomorrow. We have had nothing but problems. We have a 1 year old and do not expect special treatment however I do expect a level of service which should come with paying the fare. We have to pay $75 extra for a bulk head seat however for all 4 flights have been unable to do this due to a technical problem which they tell us has something to do with travelling with an infant however can't tell us how to overcome this. They lost our bags between Honolulu and LA and provided no financial assistance in the first 24 hours when we needed it the most. All of my husband and my daughters clothes etc were inside and it took them 3 days to find the bag and get it to us. They told us we would receive 30 dollars a day after the first 24 hours however they are fighting us about this now also. And they will not give a cent for my daughter whose clothes were also in the bag stating she is not a full fare paying customer. The majority of the hostesses are rude and not helpful at all. We received no information from them in regards to seatbelt safety etc when it came to our daughter and had to ask. The last thing as a parent you want to do is inconvenience other passengers however they make flying with a child horrific as once again, we are unable to book and pay for the bulk head seats through web check in. They had the cheek to tell us that the only way they could help us was for on our last day to catch a cab to the airport and check in that way. We told them it would cost us 130 dollars round trip and we couldn't with our one year old and they couldn't care less. They are a disgrace. I will never ever fly them again and if you are thinking of booking your holiday with them don't.

Unhappy Customer
I have a credit with United Airlines from a trip I was going to take of about $990.00 and wanted to use it to purchase new tickets for my honeymoon to Hawaii. Not only did I have to wait nearly 10-15 mins to talk to the 1st representative (who was in Pune, India) but was told they have to charge an additional $150 per ticket because I'm "changing my flight and location." I then waited an additional 20 mins to talk to a supervisor who could not explain to me what the charge is for. I found out through reading of the fine print that its for loss of revenue that they could have sold the tickets. I canceled the trip for which I had the credit nearly 3 months prior to the departure date!!! Why am I paying an additional cost of $300 to use a credit that I have already paid for in full!! I am trying to rebook with United to use the credit and be happy, but they do not care at all about their customers and treat them as just another passenger instead as separate individuals. I am so dissatisfied with United Airlines that I am going to be posting on all review sites that people stay clear of them. I will never recommend them and will never use them for the remainder of my life. I would pay double the price not to fly United after my experience with them.
