United Airlines Poor Customer Service
United Airlines does a very poor job in accommodating their customers, as well as having a very poor customer service method, and their website is also no help what so ever, they claim to provide the best customer service care they can and have completely fell back on how to appropriately accommodate their customers. Canceling a flight upon arriving to check in is very inconvenient and a definite waste of money, especially while giving no form of fare reasoning to passengers as to why the flight had so called been canceled "5 minutes" upon arriving to check in. There was no notification of this cancellation and could not even be informed by the check in clerk what the reason behind the cancelation was. There was no proper accommodation given and will now have to wait 7-14 business days until receiving some sort of notification regarding this complaint. Not fare at all being that if it were to be the passenger canceling their trip the same day, their would definitely be a penalty and United Airlines would not tolerate nonetheless wait 7-14 business days to receive their penalty fee for same day cancellation. If United Airlines knew there were mechanical difficulties with their plane, (come to find out only after contacting their customer service), why not advise their passengers ahead of time to avoid this huge inconvenience. Waste of time, waste of money, and very frustrating. I do not believe the fact that United Airlines was advised of these mechanical issues 5 minutes upon arrival to check in and only 2 hours before passengers began to board the plane.
