Good value for money
Flown many times to, from, within India-No complaints. Polite crew, good food, upgraded aircrafts, on-time flights. Air India has all the necessities that a good airline needs to have.

What A Surprise
We actually traveled on 6 flights with Jet during this period BKK-DEL-UDR-BOM-LHR-BOM-BKK but I wasn't able to represent this in the table. I had only read average to poor things about this airline but due to their connections, price and just wanting to try something new we gave them a go. We found them efficient with an excellent hard product: new planes and great seats particularly on the flag ship 777 LHR flights, they have to be one of the best business seats out there in a herringbone configuration. As for soft product: we found the service to be good and excellent on the LHR flights being very personable and even asking if there was an criticism of the flight at the end. Food was good to excellent, flights were on time and in LHR bags where taken off the belt for you! The only reason they don't get 5 stars is the dreadful lounge at BOM. BOM isn't much fun if you're transferring from domestic to international (do this at DEL if you have the choice) but that's not their fault but the lounge is far to small and overcrowded. Overall I think they offer a very good business class product and this airline has a great future ahead of it if it can continue to build on this level of service and keep their planes up to date.

Disgraceful service!!!
I was supposed to travel with my dog on the 19th of April. I'm moving to India for work and had arranged everything over a month ago. I got in touch with passport for pets (recommended by BA) who booked everything for my dog. They informed me I needed a some paperwork sorted before I fly. Which I did. Everything was ready. However a day before I was supposed to fly, BA called to inform me I needed a clearing agent in India and some more paperwork. On inquiring we found out it takes 25 days to get that paperwork sorted! So I had to change my booking because BA forgot to inform me when I first booked a month ago. However I have been charged 150 quid to change my booking for no fault of mine! I was more than happy to fly the same day! Moreover, as I was relocating to another country, I had cancelled my phone account, my internet account (I work from home) and given up my flat! All my luggage has already been sent via cargo 2 weeks before I was due to travel! It's all in India whilst I'm still stuck here! This mistake from BA has nearly cost me my job as I was supposed to start work this week and I couldn't. Not just that but my hours have officially been cut down because I have no internet connection! I'm down from working 34 hours a week to 17 hours a week!!! I am furious with the way everything has been handled! And to charge me 150 quid for a mistake they made is unacceptable! I have been trying to get in touch with them for the past 2 weeks - emails, phone, everything! But no one has bothered getting in touch. This is absolutely disgraceful and I'm NEVER traveling with them again. Their customer service is appalling! STAY AWAY!!!
