AWFUL SERVICE. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL
AWFUL!!! I flew from Honolulu to Kona for business on 12/4 and 12/5. My flights were booked using our corporate Hawaiian Airlines account. On Monday I arrived early for my departure after returning my rental car and was given an earlier after asking at the gate. I asked for the earlier flight at 7:03pm and was accommodated. I thanked the women who helped me and even told them that they had made my day. I was very happy because I needed to return to the island early the next day for the second part of my business trip. Again, tonight (Tuesday) I arrived early to the airport for my departing flight after returning my rental car and asked if I could board the earlier flight if it was not full as I did the night before. The first lady I spoke to told me there would be a $30 charge. I informed her that I was early the night before and I was given seat 20B on the 7:10pm flight without paying an additional fee and with no hassle. She repeated that I needed to pay $30 so I declined the extra fee and started to walk away. As I was walking away the woman asked if I was put on a different flight the night before due to weather problems. I again explained that I arrived early and asked for a seat on the earlier flight which is how I ended up on a different flight home. At that point the associate next to her (I believe her name was Alyssa or Melissa) decided to take my ticket and start looking at my information. She immediately told me that she was unable to help me because my ticket was booked through a corporate account and that I could have been allowed to be a standby passenger but I was too late. I explained to her that the night before I asked for a seat on the earlier flight 7 minutes before the plane was scheduled to leave and I got to fly on that flight. She shrugged her shoulders and said "Oh well. That was last night. Tonight you wait.". As she said this to me she had a huge smile on her face and started to chuckle. It was as if she got enjoyment from being able to deny my entry to the plane. I then looked at the time and it was 6:56pm. I walked away and asked one of the security guards where the Hawaiian Airlines customer service desk was. She pointed me to the front and advised me to speak with an agent. I walked up and waited in line for a few minutes and eventually Natalia was available. The time is now 7:02pm. I explained to her what happened and she just looked at me with a blank stare for a few moments then said that she couldn't do anything because "the system doesn't allow it less than 30 minutes before boarding". I told her that there must be a work around because I had been assigned to a seat 7 minutes before take off the night before. She just kept repeating herself so I finally asked for a manager. She pointed to the lady next to her and said she was the manager which was shocking considering this woman had heard the entire conversation but did not attempt to help. At no point did either of them care to check my ticket to see if anything could be done. Natalia left the counter and went into the back at 7:04pm. At 7:09pm she came back out with someone who looked like the same Alyssa or Melissa lady saying that she was a supervisor and I could speak with her. They were smiling the entire time they were looking at me. Both were very unprofessional and trying to intimidate me. I told them that at that point there was no use in talking about the situation further since the plane was leaving in 1 minute. I said that I would just write to corporate since they weren't taking me seriously and they laughed as I walked away. I have never been treated this way during a business trip. Not only was I mistreated but I was also given three different reasons why I was denied passage to the earlier flight. My company uses Hawaiian Airlines several times weekly and this is not the kind of service that anyone should receive when traveling for business or personal reasons. The lack of professionalism and disregard for loyal customers is disappointing to say the least. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Worst Customer Service, take another airline
My family and I originally had a flight leaving at 1:40, we arrived at the airport two hours before we were suppose to leave. They only had two computers up and running behind the desks. We were told to print our boarding pass then go wait in the long line to check our bags. We tried to find our flight but it was cancelled, they booked us on a earlier flight and didnt contact us to let us know, claiming they didnt have our contact information. We waited for over two hours, for them to book us on a nother flight the next day. The staff was very unprofessional. One man we were talking to about the problem completely stormed off. I am never taking this airline ever again, this also happened to many other passengers on our flight. (this is only the worst part of the flight experience, there were many more) VERY UNPROFESSIONAL STAFF
