"profit over customer service"
i bought a ticket to Ukraine just before the war started which was of course unexpected as we know. fly Dubai canceled my ticket because the airport was shut down however they would not even return my money back due to such unforeseen circumstances. no matter how many times i mentioned a war should constitute a refund as it is not my fault all they gave me was a voucher which was only valid for one year when i don't even go to any other countries they fly too. such a horrible experience. i hope people read this and understand what a bad company this is when they wont give you the money back when they are the ones who canceled my flight and not only that but wont give me money back due to a war that took place in the country i was flying too. extremely bad customer service for a airline that is trying to be good. i will try and post this on other sites so people can see how this company chooses profit over customers.
I was travelling on 31 Dec 2014 from New Delhi to Dubai and then Dubai to Abha in Business Class. I would like to mention that Crew Member Erica was exceptional when I was in Abha flight. Though she was little upset about some reason but she gave me personalized service. She was pleasant, intelligent and more of handworker. I am really with the way she managed everything....+966568522608.. All I can say is thank you very much....

"Staff totally disrespectful of passenger "
My wife and I boarded a Flydubai flight when she was 7 months pregnant (which is allowed by all international airlines and she had the necessary doctor papers to take this flight.
To cut a long story short, the ground staff of Flydubai refused to give us the seats we paid 200 AED extras for. That was fine (security always takes priority) but they refused also to give us alternative seats suitable for a pregnant woman, gave us ad-hoc seats totally unsuitable for pregnancy and separated us on top of this. Staff uses a totally inappropriate tone as if you passengers of a low cost airline are bad school pupils. They spoke to us very disrespectfully and it was a humiliating experience. On board, things were not much better and the offensive tone staff used made even other passengers take our defense. For the sake of the baby, we did not argue at all either on land or on the plane. We finally managed appropriate seats with other passengers. Staff was totally careless.
Flydubai should be avoided if you are seniors, or family with children or pregnant. Flydubai staff has no idea how to provide a service or how to handle basic uncommon situation, even if it is a very simple one.
To ad to this, the pre-purchased meal we ordered and paid for was not available on the plane. It felt like a real scam when you pay seats and meals and they are not available.

this company will steal your money, they sell more tickets than the airplane can handle, they will tell the people who arrive late to the airport( i mean if u arrive to the airport before 2 hours) that they closed the counter and they are not responsable, this is how they make their money, by selling u an allready sold ticket
"Fly Dubai Ripped me Off"
Whilst their flights are OK for the money, their car rental service is abismal. I purchased a flight/car rental combo, only to discover that the car was to be picked up and returned in a different terminal, and I needed to take (and pay for) a taxi both ways. Never during the reservation (on flydubai.com) did the tell me that I would need to take a taxi and waste time on my trip on the contrary, they asked me to reconfirm my fligh number to ensure the car would be waiting for me on time. I felt decieved. Their customer service were indifferent when I asked for assistance. Avoid their car rental service like the plague.. they misrepresent and don't back it up with after sale support.

I advise the travelers do not choose Fly Dubai for their travel Worst service. No time Management. No one feels responsible
I suggest Flydubai chnage the airline name and take out the "Dubai" part because it gives Dubai a bad image.

I was on my way to attend a funeral and could NOT wait another day for flydubai to take their time and make a different booking. I ended up buying a ticket on another airline and my trip lated (23) hours while it should have been only (6) hours.
I am going to get in touch with several blogs and ranking associations to relay this to them. I want all my friends and associates to be aware of the way flydubai handled us and avoid traveling with flydubai.
"The worst flight ever.."
The worst flight ever I experienced. I never expected this service from an airline from such a rich country, UAE. the worst flight, even if you need a blanket they will charge you for it, and they intentionally decrease the temperature to enforce the use of blanket. baggage allowance is 0 kg. you have to pay for every kg or buy allowance package. very bad services, flight seats looks like traditional Indian train seats.
Took 6 hrs of aurguring during a 11 hr layover (due to late flight) to get a hotel voucher in Dubai. Flydubai supervisor refused even to meet with custormers. They were only prepared to offer a food voucher when we initially approached them. Flydubai management doesn't even have the courtesy to talk to their customers after delaying their passengers 11 hours due to their flight being late.
"Horrible nightmare customer service"
Call centre staff can't speak proper english. They definatly need more training. Website is not user friendly at all. I had a very very hard time buying excess baggage online. Not worth it at all.
