"Interesting"

Review

Had a great stopover at Doha, flying Qatar Airways. It is not the cleanest or most efficient airport, but the staff do an amazing job of processing so many people with such small facilities. No aerobridges, but quite a good system of people taking escalators to the buses. Enjoyed taking buses for more than 20 minutes each way to the planes. Nice airport views. At night there is a sea of lights from the buses. The sunrise is beautiful over the desert landscape. Duty free is relatively good. Nice little souvenir shop upstairs. Overall a bit small, but this will change when the new Airport is opened at the end of the year. I will miss the bus rides to and from the planes :(
