This is the worst major airport in the world. My watch set off the security alarm but the staff refused to listen to my request to put it separately through the xray machine, chosing instead to give me a body search. The female officer actually put her fingers into my lower body openings through my clothing. I felt shocked and violated and couldn't believe what had happened. On our return trip, our connecting flight was late and we were refused permission to board the Qantas flight even though it was still parked at the terminal. When we approached the Qantas ticket counter to ask what would happen next we were told "It's none of our concern. Go to British Airways, they are the ones who were late." We then lined up at the BA desk and got the same treatment. We were stunned to be treated like this when nothing had been our fault. Feeling that the situation was out of control I finally demanded to speak to their manager and he came and sorted things out but not before we were so rudely treated by all the staff there with both airlines who came across as total arrogant pigs. They were all British of course, even the Qantas staff. I will never take a flight again that goes anywhere near the place. Or, for that matter, fly with either Qantas or British Airways either.
