Unbelievably yet horrific experience. We booked this trip through Apple vacations which insured us of a reliable and prompt/ comfortable trip but it was all but that. My family and I were stuck at O'Hare airport from 6am. to 4pm.because Xtra airways could not get a pilot, but what was even more dissapointing was that they kept on giving everyone the runaround on what was really happening. It wasn't until many people that were also waiting to depart started to call Apple and Xtra corporate office that they acknowledged the problem and decided to fly an airplane from another company to O'Hare to take us to our destination. And so the new airline boarded us at 4pm. flew us to Miami first, then waited an hour in the plane before we departed to our destination which took another 4 hrs. By the time we arrived at our place of stay it was 2am. of the next day WOW!!! Thanks a lot Xtra airways for this unforgettable experience. what was suppose to be a relaxing time for me and my family turned out to be a very short and stressful deal. And OH YEAH almost forgot, Xtra airways tried to compensate their passengers by giving us a $15 coupon for food which only covered a burger and fries at the airport because the 15 bucks wasn't enough for a drink HAHA what a joke this airline is. I hope this helps anyone who books a trip in the future and sees what airline is going to fly them. Unless you have time and money to spare DO NOT BOOK THIS AIRLINE.
