"Locked in the air plane for six hours"
Geneva GVAI am a frequent flyer with Qatar but my experience on 13th nov, flight 4.40 am from mumbai was a different one. We were stuck in the airplane for 6 hours with no communication from the captain. After that the flight got canceled and the ground staff was not prepared to take on 490 passengers.Flight took off at 8 am the next day and we were promised that our connections would wait at Doha which did not happen. So we wasted another day and then flew to London and then finally to Geneva.
Technical snag happens and it is totally understood but Qatar did very badly with the process and communication and loads of false promises.
Expect a lot better from Qatar. Buck up guys......

A fabulous flight - both legs in the 777 which is a spacious and comfortable airline to fly in. Service form check in at Heathrow to arrival in Melbourne was excellent - and good lounge access in Heathrow new Terminal 4. Change of plane in Doha was very quick - hardly had time to use the Business Class Terminal. Departure on time and arrivals were on time. It is a long flight but very comfortable and would certainly fly QATAR again. ON such a long flight the meals become a bit out of order, but the menus is as requested which is great.

A long flight made perfect with the friendly and excellent service. The 777 aircraft was clean, spacious and very comfortable. Will definitely continue to fly with QATAR Airways in the future

Qatar Airways is probably the best airline I have flown with. We often fly this route, and always choose whichever airline offers the lowest price. This time it happened to be Qatar Airways, and after being a bit hesitant at first, we did our research and found that the airline is one of the world's five-star airlines according to Skytrax. And we were not disappointed. For offering the best price (BY FAR) on this itinerary, the airline also had the best service and cleanest aircraft. Great food and entertainment. Doha airport is, however, a bit under-sized for the amount of passengers it handles, but this should change when the NDIA opens. Will be sad to see the old airport go though - it had its charm :)

Travelled in bussiness class. Fantastic airline and amazing inflight service on the 4 flights and good food. It totally matched what I've heard about Qatar before. Really a 5 star airline.
