I often use aircraft. My assistant and I made a flight with your company during my business trip to Japan this year. There was a mistake with ticket class (we've got economy instead of business we've booked) and FinnAir offered us complimentary tickets as an apology. They were roundtrip economy class tickets from Saint-Petersburg to Europe. When I wanted to use this offer I contacted company's ticket department to book a flight to Paris (from the 3rd till the 7th of December 2010). Timing was completely inconvenient so I asked ticket department staff to search for better variants but they told me there were no seats at all for some reason. So I had to deal with what was available and booked the hotel room and payed for the shows in Paris, total costs about 3000 euros. Imagine my reaction when a few days before the flight I got information that Finnish Cabin Crew Union went on a strike so my flight would be cancelled. I sent a request to organize a flight to Paris with one of FinnAir partner companies as it it a normal and widespread practice in any air crafting company. But I got an answer that there was a strike in Finland so nothing could be done in this situation and they were sorry about that. As a result my trip was ruined, I've lost a huge amount of money and lost my good mood.
