"Delayed flight, lost bag, stolen laptop"
I had/am continuing to have a terrible experience with aeromexico.
First while in Mexico flying to JFK, when there was a delay because "extra security screening was required of all bags" and I missed my flight, they refused to refund it ended up making me pay for a flight home. Even though I was 2 hours early. This caued me to waste $350 and 5 hours in an airport.
Then the kicker. I was asked to check my extra carry on because company policy doesn't allow sealed wine bottles on the plane. Fine. When I arrived, my bag did not. After 3 days it was finally returned to me with out my wine OR my laptop inside. After a month of leading me on, telling me they would refund it, giving me exact number, and telling me that the money was on the way they, they finally told me I would not be getting ANY refund at all. On top of all this the flight was late and the service was at best mediocre. Will NEVER use them again and I highly recommend other alternatives.
"WORST AIRLINE EVER!!"
Over 2 months ago I flew with aeromexico and upon my arrival in cancun I noticed that my luggage was broken into and that many of my personal items were stolen out of my luggage. AEROMEXICO HAS THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!! Don't even bother trying to call them to get a refund, don't bother emailing either because they will never email you back. This is what I have been going through for the past 2 months. I finally thought it was over when 2 weeks ago I finally spoke with somebody in the claims department who would be processing my refund. He took down my information and my credit card information and said that I would be receiving a confirmation email that day about the transaction; I never received an email. A week later I call and was told that I would have to give the claims department another week before I received my confirmation email. Today I call and customer service has no idea what I am talking about, my file/case # still says that my case is still under review. Completely ridiculous, unacceptable and much more that is too inappropriate to type out. Do they care? NO!!! I have to call back next week to get a status on my claim.
"Worst airline"
After Mexican Airlines went broke, Aeromexico took control of most destinations in Mexico and they have become a cuasi monopoly and do whatever they want with treating the passangers like dirt. The Terminal 2 in Mexico City that control is almost new, but you would think it was built in the 60's. So the combination of the worst airline service and this awful airport make it a true nightmare for the passengers that HAVE to use them. Whatever you do avoid using either Aeromexico and Terminal 2 in the Mexico City airport.
