"Steward refuses to help pregnant woman with hang lugguage"

I have experienced many issues with Airfrance before such as cancelling flights and not taking responsibilities for re-booking, however this issue specifically shocked me! I was on a flight from Tunis to CDG Paris on February 22nd (Flight AF1085) and when I got to my seat I asked the steward to help me put my small bag up because I am 5 months pregnant and although it wasn't heavy I am short and it takes quite an effort especially when pregnant to get anything up there, and all he said was I can't help with anyone's baggage I'm not allowed to!!! Then on the way back home on February 23rd (Flight AF1784) I flew back in Business Class and the stewardess had no problem putting my bag up for me even without asking! I can't believe how low the French airline has gotten to the point where they mistreat customers in Economy. So pregnant, old, disabled, I don't think it matters to them at all.

"lost my luggage, very rude airport staff....."

Missed my flight due to air france flight delay from a connecting flight,found the door closed +I have to argue with the delta customer service about not paying for the next flight!!!they want to charge me 200€fees,+the worst thing is they lost my luggage!very rude customer service(racist)unsurpassed, not professional at all.....stupid customer service misinformed they just standing up there for nothing...they can not even answer a single question....worst customer service ever seen..never again first time and last time air France.

"Air France experience "

My dad and I had always wanted to go on the A380 since it came out about a year before so we booked to go to new York on Air France's 80. We got to LHR and went to T4 to check in which was fab they gave us our boarding passes to CDG and to JFK and checked our bags through to JFK. We then boarded our flight to CDG which was an A321 F-GTAV I think and that was great they gave us a free pain as chocolat and a drink. However then we got to CDG and went through customs etc and went to the part of the terminal where our gate was. There was absolutely bugger all to do in this area which for a flight with a plane of a capacity of 530 people is not good at all. The they called us to board F-HPJA their first and at that point only A380. That took about 40 minutes

"Luggage was late"

Review

The airplane equipment was fine but our luggages were late. And I noticed other passengers faced the same problem. When I called the luggeage service for further information, I couldn't get a solid response that made me feel bad. My first day of travel was borken due to the late luggage.

"BAD CHAIRS AND NO FILMS "

Review

First of all:
all the screens didn't work: so no film for a flight of 12 hours. There was only 1 film on a screen of 60 cm in the beginning of the flight.... The service was slowly: when we received the breakfast we had to wait 15 min to have a coffee and i have to beg for another croissant... We where with 5 adults and everyone had problems with the back because of the bad seats ( the plane was more than 10 years old)...
NO RECOMMEND TO FLY WITH AIR FRANCE ...We took for our holiday 5 flights and this was the worst and the most expensive...
ALSO problems to book our chairs : the only moment we could book was at the check in.. no possible to do it with internet...BAD SITE of AIR FRANCE

"Losses Luggage regularly then breaks promises repeatedly"

Air France lost our luggage at the Paris Airport on the way to India. When we arrived in New Delhi they promised it would be in the next plane for 3 days. When it didn't arrive and we had to move on to our next hotel 8 hours by car and train or 2 local flights away, they promised to deliver it there (Koti) by truck. After days of promises and calls to American Express (who had made our reservations) and more promises, AF finally said that if we came back up to Delhi (not on our itinerary), they would pay for our travel expenses back to Delhi for us to pick up the bag which had finally arrived. We travelled back, picked up the bag, then were told we had to go to the main office in central Delhi to pick up the reimbursement for our travel. When we got there with our receipts, we were told that it could only be done in the city from which we had departed. The Indian executives signed a letter and told us to send in the receipts and the letter to Miami when we returned to the USA. Needless to say when we returned home, after multiple phone calls and American Express doing everything they could, Air France refused to refund ANYTHING. By the way, this was not the first or the second time Air France had misplaced our luggage. It was just the first time it cost us over $800 to retrieve it! We will NEVER fly Air France again. DO NOT BELIEVE ANYTHING THEY TELL YOU EVEN IF THEY WRITE YOU LETTERS PROMISING TO FULFILL THEIR RESPONSIBILITIES TO YOU! They are entirely unethical. We spoke to them in New Delhi, in Paris and in New York and Miami. They all lied!!!!!

"Worst travel experience "

Me and my family have been travelling for a few years every summer to Morocco and this time we decided to use air france to stop by our aunt in Paris coming from Mineapolis. After a few days visiting her we left and headed to the charles de gaulle airport. At first they did not let our extra bag go through like delta did and we paid 70 euros for that. Then as we entered security the employees weighed our bags and found out that each of our 5 carry ons had an extra kilo and they did not let us through without going back to the checkin and paying another 70 euros for an excessive bag. We did not argue because our flight was set to leave at 10;35 and it was 9;40 already. we came back to the same line and the same employees did not let us through once again because they thought we were frauding them and that we did not pay for the excessive weight and held us at the security and made a huge deal out of it even though the manager said it was alright for us to continue to the gates the employee did not let us and a hint of racism was felt towards my mother because she was wearing her scarf (hijab). I ran to our gate and found out the door was closed at 10:23. We missed our flight and the next flight to Rabat was at 8 at night at it was 10:30 in the morning. We sat at the gate for almost 9 hours. WORST TRAVEL EXPERIENCE EVER. AIR FRANCE ONLY CARES ABOUT GETTING MONEY AND COULD CARE LESS ABOUT CUSTOMER SERVICE, ALSO VERY RACIST EMPLOYEES

"Switching Seats and Changing Aircraft - Not a Good Practice"

We had Business Class reservations made months before our trips (April 17-18 and May 5, 2013). Checked the day before and seats and planes the same. When we went online to get our boarding passes found that the seats were changed so that instead of sitting side-by-side one of us was in back of the other! The planes between CDG and TEL and AMM and CDG were all tourist class with the middle seat free. Not great for 5 hour flights when you're paying business class fees. Especially when one flight leaves at 1:30am. On the CDG to IAH flight our 4a and 4b became row 9 with a 3rd seat next to us. Not terrible, but when reservations are made and checked up to the day before, it is lousy practice. Food was really poor also, but you don't fly anymore for the food. Will say the flight attendants were excellent.

"Life threatening experience, incompetent staff"

Review

Dear Air France. You lost my suitcases 2 times on one trip. I had medication in them that if I don't take - could be life threatening. Then there were items missing due to a thorough inspection: Burberry bag and LV bag. It's impossible to contact customer service and every claim I filed online does not go through. I will make sure that everyone is aware of this, file claims and go through an attorney to warn people against your horrible service. Thank you for nothing. Oh, also, three male flight attendants were engaging in inappropriate behavior in the back room, therefore I had to ask for a glass of water three times.
