"An Airline with no concern for passengers"
Bristol BRSI was booked to fly back from Dublin to Bristol on Aer Lingus. We got on the bus to go to the plane (after passing security etc.) only to be told that the flight was cancelled because of bad weather. On contacting friends at Bristol we were told that the weather was fine.
We were told we could try for a flight to Cardiff but would need to go back to the booking hall - about a Kilometer away but we were offered no assistance and the Cardiff flight was full.
After finally getting back to Bristol we were told we would get no compensation because the cancellation was due to the weather and thids is not covered by the EU regulations.

My luggage exceeded the limit by 5kg. I offered to remove excess, but as I had no carry on, it was waved through with no penalty. I was then asked if I was travelling alone and asked if I would like an upgrade to an exit seat as " sure someone has to sit there" . Very Irish, very welcome, very NOT Ryanair.
